These days many people think that what we should be doing should be fun.

But what happens when it is not?

When the wheels fall off the cart: when people let you down, turn on you, betray you, when you make mistakes, fall short of your goal and fail, when the demands seem overwhelming?

Do we just chuck it in?

What keeps us going?

Having a clear sense that there is a higher cause than our personal happiness and security and comfort. That we are giving our selves to something bigger than us.

To be able to do this you must find your purpose, something that your heart feels is important and meaningful. Something that is going to help make the world a better place.

If you have found that you are a lucky person.

If not then that is your goal: To find something to do that helps to make the world a better place.

You are not here just to find peace, you are here to be all that you can be and give the world the gift of your unique presence!

The challenges that are right on your doorstep, right now are calling you out. Calling you to step up and grow.

Who would Nelson Mandela be without apartheid or Mahatma Ghandi be if the English had not take over India or Martin Luther King be without discrimination?

Don’t renesent the people and situations that are challenging you. They are your teachers, they are serving you, beckoning you to grow. Embrace the birthing pains that are stripping you of some false attachment and part of the process of you finding a deeper you.
